AUTHOR'S ABOUT

Alison Kent was born on a farm in Suffolk in 1964. An early memory was secretly making her own book of poetry out of green wallpaper; it was dreadful in every respect. Most things have come to her slowly, five attempts at English Language ‘O’ level, becoming a Mother at 48, but the consistent thing throughout her life has been dogs. Having written features for magazines she then started a column entitled, “Workers of Wivenhoe” which has been running for fifteen years. With “just walking the dog …” she marries two of her passions, writing a commentary on life and the companionship of Moss her high voltage Collie dog.
